After a brief pause for summer, the return of the Parlor Sessions is nigh, which is great news for those seeking something a little bit different from the more traditional gig staging.
Arts collective Where Two Rivers Meet brings truly tempting music to the fore, and lets the artists loose to perform in the truly stunning, and very historic, setting of St Peter and St Paul's Church in Newport Pagnell.
Saturday's (September 27) show will be headlined by Chloe Foy who 'finds magic in the spaces between light and dark.'
Us people are complicated things, and Chloe uses the complexities of the human experience in her creativity, so you can expect lyrics about love, loss, and the subtle daily battles we fight.

Her second album, Complete Fool, was released in June, and pulled together rock-tinger folk with strings and that special vocal ability of hers.

Youth dance company MK Dance Theatre will open the event with innovative choreography. MKDT was set up just before the pandemic to nurture the next-gen in movement and they've, dare we say, moved quickly – and are now lauded for their innovative deliveries and artistic vision.
There's a lot of entertainment on offer here, for not a lot of cash – tickets are just £12.
As previously, profits from this gig will go to help develop the the church so that it can host more of these, and other, community events.
