Heritage Open Days are in full swing across the new city, and how better to celebrate the largest festival of history and culture than with a cheeky beverage or two?
From Thursday, and daily through to Sunday, the Milton Keynes community is being encouraged to take a peek inside Milton Keynes Museum and enjoy its array of hands-on history; from the ancient times, through to the founding of the new city.
As is traditional, entry at the Museum over the four days will be free, and the ever-popular Beer Festival returns, but with some tasty additions – this year it will be a Beer & Gin Festival!
“We’re excited to introduce a curated selection of premium gins at our pop-up bar in the barn, courtesy of Wolverton Gin,” said Graham Harris, “You’ll also find a great choice of 10 real ales and eight ciders — all at reasonable prices. We accept both cash and card, and invite you all down to raise a glass, but please drink responsibly.”
Aside from the bar, the Granary Tearoom will be serving hot and cold, sweet and savoury snacks. The beer and gin tent will be open from 10.30am – 4.30pm daily.
