The Stony Stratford Christmas Lights Switch-On Fun Day is confirmed for Saturday, 29th November - get the date in your diary now.
The all-illuminating event pulls the community together and the town glitters and shines as the festive season is officially switched on at 5pm following a full day of activities for the whole family.
Entertainment includes the return of WatlingFest, shining a light on musical talent. Get your fill of sounds by heading to stage in Market Square, and while you listen you can get your fill of tasty stuff, too - with street food served in the square all day long.
Morris dancers will deliver in a range of different styles and colourful costumes from 10.30am to 3.30pm, and organisers are hoping that the Stony Stratford Mummers will also be paying a visit.
The traditional funfair returns, and Santa will be stopping off in the town!
Additionally, the seasonal market stalls will be selling festive wares making picking up those Christmas goodies a breeze - they will be open and serving from 9am.
As darkness falls, the popular lantern parade will meander down London Road from York House onto the High Street and into the Market Square in time for the countdown led by the Ugly Sisters.
Stony's lights will be turned on at 5pm followed by some community carol singing to get the Christmas celebrations off to a fine start!
