Woburn Safari Park celebrates Elephant Appreciation Weekend
Special educational talks and demonstrations will be included in the cost of standard Park admission and for a small donation visitors will enjoy fabulous elephant-themed games and activities (with prizes) and the opportunity for a photograph with one of the elephants. Asian elephants are endangered in the wild due to habitat loss, human-elephant conflict and hunting. It is estimated there are between 30,000 and 50,000 Asian elephants and between 400,000 and 500,000 African elephants left in the wild....
